π Important Notice About WMS Spanish Club
Please read before applying!
The Wetumpka Middle School Spanish Club is NOT a club for learning or practicing the Spanish language. Students do not need to join the club to learn Spanish or become fluent in Spanish.
The purpose of the Spanish Club is to promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of Hispanic culture and Spanish-speaking countries. Through fun activities, school events, community service, cultural celebrations, and competitions, students will have opportunities to learn about and celebrate the diversity of Hispanic cultures.
Our club focuses on:
- π Learning about Hispanic culture and Spanish-speaking countries
- π Celebrating cultural traditions, holidays, food, music, art, and history
- π€ Promoting understanding, respect, and acceptance of different cultures
- π Serving our school and community through service projects
- π¨ Participating in fun cultural activities and school events
- π Participating in competitions and representing WMS
Our Mission:
To empower students to serve their school and community while promoting understanding and knowledge of the Spanish language and culture through fun activities.
Our Vision:
To bring students together for social, service, and cultural experiences while enhancing their awareness and knowledge of Spanish-speaking countries and their cultures.
